Postpartum
Because let’s face it… no one talks about the fourth trimester.
I had a beautiful pregnancy and a healthy delivery. But once my baby was here, everything shifted, and not in the way I expected. My body no longer felt like mine. My thoughts raced to the point where I didn’t even recognize my own mind. It was like living in a constant, dissociative, out-of-body experience. The world celebrated my baby’s arrival, but no one seemed to notice that I was unraveling.
The truth is, the way we care for postpartum women in this country is broken. We check boxes instead of checking in. We ask how the baby is sleeping, but not how mom is coping. We expect women to bounce back, return to work, and carry on when what they really need is time, space, and support.
At Everbloom, I’m working to change that. This work is deeply personal to me. If you're curious to read more about why I feel so strongly about this, you can read the blog post here …it’s a hill I’d gladly die on.
Whether you're freshly postpartum or years out, I'm here to support your recovery, both physically and emotionally. Yes, we’ll address common postpartum pelvic health concerns like pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, painful sex, or diastasis recti. But our sessions go beyond the physical. We’ll talk about how you move and lift your baby, how you feed and carry them, how you breathe, how you sleep (or don’t). We’ll explore ways to support your roles and routines in this new season of life, because your mental health and identity matter, too.
Common Postpartum Conditions We Treat
Pelvic Organ Prolapse (POP)
Feeling heaviness, pressure, or a bulge in the vagina? It could be pelvic organ prolapse. This occurs when organs shift due to weakened pelvic floor muscles after pregnancy or birth.
At Everbloom, we use hands-on therapy, alignment work, and muscle retraining to restore support and ease.
Diastasis Recti (Abdominal Separation)
Still look pregnant months after delivery? Notice doming or core weakness? This may be diastasis recti, a separation of the abdominal muscles.
We assess your core system, then guide you through safe, progressive rehab that reconnects and strengthens from the inside out.
Urinary Incontinence
Leaking when you cough, sneeze, or exercise is common, but not something you have to live with. It’s often a sign of pelvic floor dysfunction.
We identify the root cause and retrain the system using breath, posture, and functional movement strategies.
Pain with Sex (Dyspareunia)
Postpartum pain with intimacy may stem from scar tissue, tension, or hormonal shifts, even when everything “looks fine.”
Our trauma-informed care supports healing through gentle manual therapy, education, and pelvic floor relaxation.
Constipation & Bowel Dysfunction
Straining, incomplete emptying, or hemorrhoids are common postpartum, especially after tears or pelvic tension.
We address pelvic floor mobility, organ support, and toileting mechanics to improve ease and regularity.
Pelvic Girdle Pain & Hip Instability
Pain in your hips, back, or pubic area with walking, lifting, or feeding? Pregnancy and delivery often leave the pelvis out of balance.
We assess alignment, core stability, and joint mechanics to restore comfort and confident movement.
Our Approach to Postpartum Recovery
Postpartum recovery is about more than just your pelvic floor. At Everbloom, we support the whole you- body, mind, and identity-as you navigate this life-altering transition.
Our work is hands-on and personalized. We assess how your core, breath, and pelvis are working together, and address any restrictions or imbalances that may be contributing to pain, pressure, or instability. We often incorporate gentle visceral mobilization, scar tissue release, and bodywork to support healing from the inside out starting as early as 2 weeks postpartum.
We also pay close attention to how you move through your day: how you lift your baby, get out of bed, or carry a car seat. These small, repetitive actions matter. We help you adjust them to reduce strain and support long-term recovery.
Whether you're 6 weeks postpartum or 6 years out, our care is grounded in nervous system support, evidence-based rehab, and compassion. We understand how layered this season can be, and we're here to walk with you through healing, rediscovery, and reclaiming strength in your body again.
