Everbloom Pelvic Health is primarily a private-pay practice (however, as of December 11 2025, we will be in-network with BCBS of NC). Payment is due at the time of service. While we do not bill insurance directly, we’re happy to provide a superbill upon request.

A superbill is an itemized receipt that includes all the necessary information for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Depending on your plan and carrier, some clients are able to get a portion-or even the full cost-of their sessions reimbursed. We recommend calling your insurance provider to ask about your out-of-network occupational therapy benefits.

  • Pelvic floor therapy starts with understanding how your body is functioning as a whole. We assess things like posture, breathing, core engagement, and pelvic floor coordination to identify what might be contributing to your symptoms.

Treatment is personalized and may include hands-on manual therapy, movement and breathwork, nervous system support, education, and customized strategies you can use at home. For those who are comfortable and may benefit from it, internal pelvic floor assessment and treatment can be offered, but it's never required.

The goal is to help you move better, feel better, and reconnect with your body in a way that feels safe, effective, and sustainable.

  • Yes! Everbloom Pelvic Health is now in-network with insurance.

    • Blue Cross Blue Shield Commercial Plans — effective December 11, 2025

    • Aetna Commercial Plans — coverage begins January 15, 2026

Even though we are credentialed with these plans, Everbloom continues to operate as a patient-centered, self-pay practice. This model allows us to offer longer, more personalized sessions, evidence-based care, and treatment decisions that are guided by your needs — not insurance restrictions.

If you choose to self-pay, we are happy to provide a superbill you can submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

If you have questions about your specific benefits or coverage, just reach out — we’re here to help you understand your options.

  • You are welcome to begin pelvic floor therapy as soon as you feel ready. At Everbloom, I offer an optional in-home session as early as one week postpartum. For this first visit, I bring a therapy table and a nourishing meal to support your recovery. We’ll focus on gentle breathwork, releasing muscles most impacted during pregnancy, beginning safe core healing, and learning body mechanics to help you hold and care for your baby with comfort. This session also supports early mom–baby bonding. Internal pelvic floor work is always optional, based on your comfort, and is not addressed until you’ve been cleared by your midwife or OB.

  • Yes, you're welcome to bring your baby or child with you. I have a small selection of toys available (mostly infant to toddler age), and many mamas do bring their little ones along. That said, I gently encourage you to consider arranging childcare so you can truly take this hour for you. This time is meant to support your healing, your body, and your nervous system, and sometimes even just an hour of uninterrupted care can make a big difference.
